Vigilant Video's CamSmartz™ analytics engine is a proven technology to power MangoDSP's appliances, which utilize the Texas Instruments DM642 Digital Signal Processor (DSP.) CamSmartz™ enables the DSP appliances to interpret video streams from CCTV cameras in ways similar to human security personnel. The 2.0 version release of CamSmartz™ includes ease of use and compatibility features so that simply connecting analog video lines in one side of the smart box will allow users to get a broad variety of value-added outputs to existing DVRs, NVRs and enterprise level command and control system databases. The value-added outputs include analog video output overlay with object tracking and user-defined security zones, IP video streaming to the CamSmartz™ command center and XML-based object tracking and alarm packets via the CamSmartz™ Remote API.
Clients and integration partners have found that the new capabilities of CamSmartz™ software provide additional information regarding potential threats and human activities captured on video.
