February 16, 2007 -- Redlands, California—ESRI, the world leader in geographic information system (GIS) software, is pleased to announce the availability of ArcReader 9.2. ArcReader is a free, easy-to-use desktop mapping application that allows users to view, navigate, and print maps and globes created with the ArcGIS Publisher extension.

It also lets you distribute maps bundled with data on a CD. This ability allows you to significantly increase access to geographic information.

ArcReader 9.2 includes enhanced viewing of maps with ArcGIS Online services, which provides a series of ready-to-use online map, globe, and other GIS services. With ArcReader 9.2, users can also print maps with customized titles.
