SRA Integrates NetOwl® with Google Earth Enabling Geocoding of Multilingual Unstructured Data

Fairfax, Virginia - October 22, 2007 — SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to federal government organizations, today announced that NetOwl, an advanced multilingual text mining platform developed by SRA, is now fully integrated with the Google Earth™ service. This new capability enables knowledge workers to rapidly analyze, geotag, and geoparse large amounts of unstructured data from a diverse number of sources and languages, and it georeferences the results in new and innovative ways through Google Earth. It also provides the ability to fuse structured and unstructured data and imagery, and to tailor specific requirements to their individual needs – increasing accuracy and enhancing productivity in searching, collecting, and integrating information and data.

NetOwl’s unique and highly accurate capability of automatically extracting and geocoding key semantic concepts, such as entities, relationships and events, from texts, and its integration with Google Earth, offer seamless visual representations of seminal information, relationships, and key trends.

With this announcement, SRA continues to leverage innovative Google technologies to support the geospatial needs of its customers. SRA is showcasing the NetOwl-Google Earth integrated solution this week at the GEOINT 2007 Symposium in San Antonio, Texas. SRA Vice President of Advanced Programs and Chief Innovation Officer Bryan Maizlish said, “The expansion of NetOwl’s capability into the geospatial area, and the partnership we have established with Google Earth, provides the critical foundation to geo-enable large volumes of text in multiple languages. This will result in measurable productivity enhancements for our customers, enabling them to fuse information from multiple sources and visually focus their analysis on relevant areas of concern.”

Senior Manager, Google Federal, Rob Painter, added, "NetOwl offers a significant new capability when combined with Google Earth, providing users with geographic awareness of relevant information and data. SRA has demonstrated the benefit of using Google Earth Enterprise as a foundation for powerful solution integration."
