DJS Communications Wins IABC Renaissance Award for INCAT Inside e-newsletter

Award of Merit in Electronic and Digital Communication category

ROYAL OAK, Mich., June 20 /PRNewswire/ -- DJS Communications, an independently owned corporate communications group founded in 2004, won an IABC Renaissance Award for the INCAT Inc. monthly employee e-newsletter, INCAT Inside. The Award of Merit was presented yesterday by the Detroit Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) in the Electronic and Digital Communication category.

"Excellent work provided for a wide and challenging audience," said the judges. "You have a well thought-out and disciplined process, and the goals are supported by the measurements.

"The breadth of who you are communicating to is impressive. The content covers a broad spectrum of interests -- information on the corporation, its people and the various cultures that are represented worldwide," they added.

"INCAT Inside is the primary source of information for our employees worldwide," said INCAT CEO Warren Harris. "This award is certainly an honor for us and for the team that produces it, but the proof of INCAT Inside's effectiveness and success is the extent to which our metrics show that employees rely upon it for corporate news and information."

INCAT Inside has been published monthly, for nearly 10 years, for INCAT employees throughout North America, Europe, India and the extended Asia-Pacific region. It includes regular executive messages, international updates, industry news, employee recognition components and, beginning in 2007, embedded video of corporate events produced especially for the publication.

"The success of INCAT Inside is the result of the hard work of our talented contributors, and of innovative approaches to design and delivery that keep the publication fresh and interactive for INCAT employees," said Daniel Saad, INCAT Inside Editor.

"This is a wonderfully challenging design project," added Doris Saad, Art Director on the publication since its launch. "Finding innovative ways to keep it meaningful and useful to employees has led us into the area of video production and has led to the introduction of feedback forums and interactive elements. It's not just about traditional layout and design anymore - it's about designing a dynamic, 'living and breathing' package for the readers."
