The Society for Technical Communication (STC) Honors Axium’s Ajera Product with Two Excellence Awards and One Merit Award for its Software Documentation

PORTLAND, Ore. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — January 25, 2011Axium, a leading developer of accounting and project management software for architectural and engineering firms, received awards from the Society of Technical Communication (STC) for three of its software documentation materials for its Ajera product.

The Ajera “Getting Started Implementation Guide” and the “Financial Statement Designer Quick Tour E-learning Lesson” both received Awards of Excellence. The Ajera “Client Invoice Design Quick Reference” received a Merit Award.

“The writing and overall presentation of this piece [Getting Started Guide] are compelling reasons to want to use this product,” stated one of the competition’s judges. “The level of content is perfect as a guide. It helps the user navigate to where they need to be, but allows them to complete the details without reading a ton of extra steps.”

“These awards are a reflection of the effort Axium has dedicated to ensure our clients have the high-level resources they need to learn Ajera quickly and comprehensively,” said Jon Male, Director of Research and Development. “We have continued to invest in making our products as easy for AE firms to use as possible. This shows we’re accomplishing our goal of making sure our clients have excellent Ajera training materials available to them at all times.”
