Abstracts Sought for URISA's Sixth Caribbean GIS Conference

January 25, 2012 (Des Plaines, IL) – URISA is pleased to announce its Sixth Caribbean GIS Conference taking place November 12-16, 2012 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The conference theme is "Spatial Technologies - Critical Thinking for Critical Times". The Conference Program is developed through a Call for Presentations. Abstract submissions are reviewed and discussed by a group of volunteer committee members representing the Caribbean region and others with a keen interest in advancing technology solutions in the area.

The committee welcomes the submission of individual papers, complete sessions, and lightning talks and has proposed a list of suggested topics for consideration (note that all abstracts received will be reviewed and considered for the conference program regardless of the list below):

Abstract submissions will be accepted until Monday, April 2, 2012.
