Organizations are fast realizing the importance of fueling AI models with trustworthy data in order to avoid negative outcomes, with data enrichment and geospatial insights emerging as new priorities. In fact, recent studies show a 22% increase in data enrichment and a 62% increase in spatial analytics as strategies for improving data integrity over the past 12 months, and this is set to grow during 2025.

A company’s internal data alone rarely provides a complete picture. Accurate locations are more important than ever, and by leveraging trusted third-party datasets, data can be enriched – adding depth and nuance to what businesses and AI models already know about places, people, properties, and more. This can include points of interest data, demographics data, detailed address information, and environmental risk factors such as the likelihood of natural disasters.

Take, for example, the rise of record-setting weather and wildfire events. It’s never been more important for underwriters to have as much context as possible to accurately assess risk and price policies.
