European Space Imaging (EUSI) collected new satellite imagery on 3 December over Munich, Germany, now covered in blankets of snow from a record-breaking snowfall of 45 cm this past weekend. The heaviest snowfall in 20 years brought chaos into the capital of Bavaria as flights, trains, and other means of transport were cancelled. Emergency responders reported multiple transport accidents caused by the icy conditions, and thousands of households experienced power outages.
