Agreement adds to Tyler’s existing client base of 96 agencies in the state
PLANO, Texas — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 15, 2017 — Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) signed an agreement with New Hanover County, North Carolina, for Tyler’s EnerGov™ solution. This comprehensive land management system will be used by multiple departments and agencies to encourage collaboration while tracking land development projects from planning to completion.
The county was looking to streamline its processes and improve transparency for its staff and customers, which required a single centralized system. New Hanover was familiar with Tyler, having already used its Munis® enterprise resource planning solution, iasWorld® appraisal and tax administration solution, and CLT Appraisal Services™ for the county’s 2017 reappraisal. By using EnerGov, multiple departments and agencies can track land development projects, thereby greatly improving the customer experience through more defined processes.
“We’re looking forward to benefitting from EnerGov’s excellent GIS integration and high level of mobility that we were lacking before,” said Leslie Chaney, chief information officer, New Hanover County. “These enhanced features will be used by many departments within the county, and we will be able to provide better customer service and community access for land development projects from concept to completion.”
Through training, project management, and implementation of the new centralized land development tracking system, Tyler and the county will work toward achieving the following main objectives:
- Implement a reliable, transparent, and efficient system to make it easier for the county’s customers to do business
- Improve communication throughout the development process for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide intuitive online services utilizing mobile technology that provides the community with access to services and information
- Consistently meet and exceed development community expectations
“EnerGov is specifically designed to automate and centrally connect critical processes like land management, and we are pleased to be working with New Hanover County to bring better online services and access to its constituents,” said Rusty Smith, general manager of Tyler’s EnerGov solution. “Tyler is proud to provide EnerGov to dozens of agencies in the state of North Carolina and enhance mobility and workflow for each client. We are eager to provide the same level of enhanced customer access to New Hanover County.”
New Hanover County is one of 100 counties in the state of North Carolina and has a population of more than 200,000.
