Toronto, Canada, May 16, 2011 — Optech Incorporated, the world’s leading manufacturer of advanced lidar and camera survey instruments, announced today that Airborne Imaging, a Clean Harbors company based in Calgary, Alberta, has purchased Optech’s next-generation Lynx Mobile MapperTM.

“We are pleased to have Airborne Imaging augment their aerial Optech equipment with a Lynx system,” said Daina Morgan, Optech’s Product Manager, Lynx Mobile Mapper.  “Given their many years of experience with airborne data collection, their ability to acquire large and diverse projects, and their proven ability to adopt and embrace new technology, we anticipate many groundbreaking surveys will be undertaken by Airborne Imaging with their Lynx M1”.
