They have been use to mark the edge of reality, the boundaries of kingdoms, the domain of empires and the riches of nations. Neogeography rose in discourse with this authority. Once solely the domain of government agencies and large corporations, the mapping of our ability to map the world is being liberated. This talk explores examples of neogeography relative to authority.
