VEHICLE LOCATION SYSTEM
AbstractTechniques are provided for locating a parked vehicle using a mobile device. In one embodiment, the mobile device may automatically detect when a moving vehicle is being parked and save its GPS location at that point at the location of the parked vehicle. The mobile device may later output the saved location of the parked vehicle when a user, such as the driver of the parked vehicle, requests the information. In some embodiments, the mobile device may communicate with the vehicle in order to determine when the vehicle is being parked.
