The Health & Human Services ESRI User Group (HUG) was founded 11 years ago and is now the second largest ESRI user group, with 1041 members in 36 countries. The Healthy GIS newsletter http://www.esri.com/library/newsletters/healthygis/healthygis-winter2009.pdf is available online. During the lunch meeting held at ESRI UC, the group outlined recent inquiries which included: obesity, tuberculosis, and methodology. It was also pointed out that health reform cuts across all geographic boundaries.
