The publication of the story celebrates the appearance of the “Shortlist” app that appears in Esri’s template gallery. <http://storymaps.esri.com/templategallery/>.
Users can now download the template’s source code, which includes detailed instructions on how to build and publish shortlists using spreadsheets, ArcGIS Online web maps, and the application code. The app enables users to organize content into customized categories; a thumbnail gallery displays sites within the current map extent. Popups link to summary boxes with text, photos, addresses, and web links.
