The release includes a new software developer kit (SDK) that enables CityEngine procedural modeling technology to be used in 3D software packages such as Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, and SketchUp.  Esri CityEngine is among the first 3D urban design software applications to include seamless export to the web via CityEngine web scenes. The company Bentley has achieved its initial public rating and while in 2010 the company adjusted for exchange rates and acquisitions, they have regained revenue momentum from the downturn. This functionality is said to enable governments to perform urban planning, noise simulation, shadow analysis, natural disaster mitigation, public relationship management, and 3D analysis and design. |
